This course is focused on reviewing diagnostic cases of lymph nodes and extranodal manifestations of lymphoid disorders, based on the 2022 update of the WHO classification.
On each day, a number of cases will be extensively discussed by the faculty members using an interactive approach with live microscopic demonstration. Particular attention will be given to the diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis and the rational use and limitations of immunochemistry and molecular genetic testing, as well as the integration of histological/ immunochemical and molecular findings. Several lectures will give an overview on classification of malignant disorders and diagnostic issues, complementing the case discussions.
The participants will have the opportunity to review the digitized cases (virtual microscopy) four weeks prior to and after the course.
